Influences	First influences were the likes of Jean Michel Jarre and Vangelis. Then a mixture of Reggae and UK Synth Pop. Luckily I was exposed to the early house movement through to the Acid House of the late 80's. From then I was inspired by pretty much any electronic music and sounds around me.

I have been producing music under the moniker DiLATiON for about 12 years in various styles. My main focus is Techno but I'll try my hand at any genre. I think EVERY genre has good and bad points - I like to exploit those points and come up with something that I feel is a "good track" - even if it is a genre I wouldn't normally go out of my way to listen to.

I also make music under the moniker "Dialed". Basically anything non-Techno; mainly breaks/electro type stuff.

My alter ego is Cedric von Flugel - he makes experimental madness.

The current DiLATiON brand/theme was inspired by an Iranian refugee called Abbass Amini. Abbass was facing deportation from here in the UK. As a protest against his pending deportation, and the plight of other refugees caught up in the British immigration system, he sewed his eyes, ears and mouth shut. A person was willing to go to these extremes to stay in this country. We should all stop complaining about the bad points of this country and appreciate the relative freedom we actually have.
