Dillon Chevalier is a singer/songwriter originally from Gilmer, Texas. He is also a recent graduate from Texas A&M University with a degree in Wildlife & Fisheries Sciences.
When Dillon graduated high school in 2005, he moved to Denton, Texas where he attended college and began his solo musical career. September of 2005 marked his first solo show, which was an open mic series at the now deceased Frog Theatre in Ft. Worth, Texas in front of just a handful of people. His persistence in performing gradually led to the development of a following in the Denton/Dallas area.
While in Denton, he released “The Gentle Breeze EP” which was recorded by Martin Baird of Verge Music Works in Dallas, Texas. The EP consisted of 5 songs including “Caney Creek” and “The Gentle Breeze”.
Dillon moved to College Station, Texas in 2006 to pursue other education opportunities and continued to write and play at local venues. Fortunately, it did not take long for his name to appear in newspapers and billboards in the area.
He Then recorded and released his first full-length album called “Across From Me” in 2007. The album was recorded by Andy Teel at Studio 117 in Longview, Texas. Featuring 12 original songs including “North Song,” “Across From Me,” and “Everything Dies,” the album received much positive feedback and opened many doors for the aspiring songwriter.
Currently, Dillon is recording his second full-length called “All I Need”. The album, which is also being recorded by Andy Teel, has no set release date but will hopefully be available by October.
