Diminished by definition means to make smaller or lessen, and faith can mean a strong belief in a supernatural power and it can also mean to have complete confidence in a specific idea, person, etc. In our case the latter. Many times in life we're put in postions that make us reflect on how we feel towards certain aspects in life. Such as self confidence, or understanding of the world. Your entire outlook can change due to life's challenges, and in our case, it has.
