We are a new act that is attempting big things. We understand that it is you, the listeners of our music and persuers of our cause, that can make the dream happen. The world is full of people who want to express themselves through their energy & creativity. We encourage all to participate in our shows and events by engaging in a creative art. Our attempt in our music is to make something that everyone can enjoy. In doing so, we are very open and wholistic in our thoughts of our music and ideals. We try to incorporate a spectrum of genre to conceive multiple styles and sounds.
Music is a language that can communicate more powerfully, deeply and emotionally than any poem or picture. "Music expresses that which cannot be put into words and cannot remain silent." - Victor Hugo. Music is the direct transcendence of your soul and intent to the spirit world. It has the power to unlock dormant parts of your mind, and has the power to heal the sick. Music is life, life is music. They are each others own reflection.
Dimitri's Ascent was formed in Febuary of 2006 in Austin, TX.
