DimensionalMusicTechniques/DiMuTech is the project created by James in December 2004. The idea is to create different styles of music. Different dimensions of sound.
"From an early age I've always had music in me. I took piano and guitar lessons as a child but never took the time to learn as much as(with hindsight) I would have liked. I started to get interested in music that altered my consciousness and listened to alot of 60's/70's psychedlic acts like Pink Floyd, The Doors, Hendrix etc. Then in 2003 I was introduced to Shpongle (Simon Posford & Raja Ram)Hallucinogen, goa psy trance etc. This energy and style yet also great thinking (not just like mindless techno crap) got me hooked. I was fortunate to have friends who were making psy trance(metzAnima & Sienis). I watched them working on tracks and learnt the basics and in 2004, I started to dabble in making my own electronic music. In 2006 I discovered a new style and started producing some tracks. I have still to learn alot with production. One day it will come.
In trying to sum up my music. I like to think that I have a unique sound but with traces of my influences. As Lost White Brother said "highly original work you are producing!!"
