Dining In Tuscany formed in late 2005 and after an extensive writing period hit the studio to create a sonic representation of the bands intentions.
A no nonsense approach to recording and an appreciation of frostbitten atmospherics as dictated by their contemporaries, laid way for the creation of the "post cards from coco lezzone ". The EP is cacophonous and raw, it's production values lend themselves to that of old school "necro" black metal and would not disappoint fans of both modern heavy music and there forefathers.
From its dark ethereal sound to it's rustic artwork, this self funded and self produced release has been met with rousing response.
2007 saw Dining In Tuscany team up with soviet records to release the EP, the feedback has suggested D.I.T manage to capture many elements of pioneering bands in similar genres as well as bringing an originaity to their approach. With this record, D.I.T traverse similar grounds, sounds and moods generated by bands such as genghis tron and curl up and die with fused black metal stylings that draw comparisons to bands like emperor, gorgoroth, darkthrone,1349,blended with influences from grindcore/metal bands such as Anaal Nathrakh, converge and nasum.
Currently DIT are writing material to follow up 2006's release of Post Cards from Coco Lezzone.
Good to hear.. any luck on the singer search? We've been jamming with two new dudes and it's going real well.. writing some cool new material that is going in a very post-rock direction.. dual harmonies and clean signing and shit and everything! Hopefully we'll get down to Sydney towards the end of the year.

Good to hear things are grooving. We've got July 11 and 12 penned in for Sydney. I'll see if Bubsy can fit you on one of those. Writing is going well. Nearly ready to record again even though we're still waiting to release our last album. The new drummer IS Space Bong. It's all coming together at the right time in the right way.
