The band is powered by the frankly awesome rhythm unit of Chris and Mark on drums and bass. Steve adds rhythm guitar to this - mostly electric, sometimes acoustic and occasionally mando. We're fronted up by the ever-glamorous pairing of Julie and Mick who sing. Julie used to win prizes and stuff ... she's really quite good. She also plays guitar sometimes.
  • Influences

We've all been around a while so lots and lots of things (if you add us all up we go back to Mozart or something). On the whole, there's definitely an 80s thing going on with bits of Level 42, Ska and post-punk Jam-like things cropping up from time to time. Then there's Blues - a fair bit of that - and Rock. Steve's into Proggy-type concept stuff, and we're all liking Elbow at the moment. We're trying to avoid being clipped into a genre, so we create a wide range of different noises. We're listening to some of the spiritually keen Worship music being created in the States and Oz - Misty Edwards and Brooke Fraser are there, and Chris Tomlin. Julie has a long-term and ever-so-slightly worrying thing going on with Delerious and Y-Friday. I think she used to baby-sit them or something.
  • Sounds Like

Think of rich dark chocolate and a fine old single malt on a cold windy night. We sound almost nothing like that. ....We're louder, much louder.
