About Dining With The Bolsheviks

My name is Emily Phelps and I write and record very simple songs for fun.

The solo outing of Emily from Save The Sea Monkeys. Fresh outta high school and she’s already churning out amazing mellow pop tunes like she was born to do it all her life. She probably is. They are endearing songs about growing up, like those songs you would write when leaving the life you once knew to start a new one that you will come to know soon enough. Deep stuff right there, dude. But really, this girl has a pretty bright future ahead of her. And her songs don’t sound like Juno soundtrack rejects at all! Why she’s hanging out with the likes of the druggies of ECRC or the evil bastards of PKi! is way beyond me. Here’s to hopefully a release soon. I’m actually excited to hear an actual album from this kid. Irony aside. -PKi! Commune
