After classical studies in Europe, at the age of 18 Dino began to play the electric bass in local bands and, after a tour in Italy, thanks to his personal bass playing (a combination of 8 fingers tapping and funk slap), he joined the band of the European rock star Vasco Rossi, touring with him as 'lead bass' for one year. His musical interest ranges from classical to jazz styles, with progressive rock music being the most affine and natural style that lets him naturally express his virtuoso capabilities. Alzheimer, Nowhere, Disaster Area (with Yngwie Malmsteen former band artist Ronnie Keel on guitar), Mistura, and Lisa's Revenge (with Ted Nugent former band artist Lee Wilkerson on guitar) are only a few of the bands that Dino had joined as session player before becoming official teacher at the prestigious Lizard College Of Music, Bass Department, in Italy. He had local and international collaborations with renowned musicians like Jennifer Batten, Prashant Aswani, Gaetano Nicolosi, Mistheria, Neil Zaza, Massimiliano Cona, Dave Martone, Prestoon Reed, Andy Timmons, Simon Phillips, Antonio Ferlito, Bicio, Alessandro Benvenuti, Gianni De Chellis, Daniele Gottardo, GD, Jack Speciale, Andrea Morucci, Marco Sfogli, Francesco J. Perticone, Alex Argento, Maurizio Solieri. During the year 2000 he had toured in all Europe with the 'Jesus Christ Superstar' orchestra performing the world famous musical in cities like Paris, London, Rome and Barcellona. In the year 2002 Dino had joined the GD Trio with his long time friend Jack Speciale on drums and the European virtuoso GD on guitars and synths, for a the "Behind the clouds" USA promotional tour. Meanwhile he collaborates to the realization of several new albums with artists like Scott Tarillo (Berklee teacher), Mary Healey (Walt Disney), Giulio D'Agostino and Jack Speciale. In same period, he hold many bass-clinics in Massachuttes, and participated to the "Gibson Platinum Night" event; In December 2002 he is also a candidate, together with great artists like Flea, Les Claypool, Stu Hamm, Victor Wooten, and many others, to the Internet poll for the best bass player in the prestigious “Bass Player contest of the year 2002”. Additionally, he had produced the folk/rock band Strummula and played with Billy Sheehan's official Mr. Big cover band, “Mr. Pig”. In 2003 he participate to the recording of the album “Special Friends Compilation” and its related tour in North Europe (Norway, Danmark, Sweden and Finland). In 2005 he realized his first instructional bass guitar DVD, produced by CPS Inc. and distributed throughout US, north Europe, and Japan, and toured for its promotion. He had received a sponsorship for a signature bass by RARO Guitar Inc. and is already endorser for Galli Strings Inc., a renowned italian music strings manufacturer, Di Marzio Inc. guitar/bass Pick-ups, and Markbass Inc. guitar/bass amplifiers. Besides the various works in recording studios as session-player at the "Waltz Studios" in Boston and the "Civitas Studios" in Copenaghen, and the continuous improvement, Dino has long-time collaborations with the prestigious american Internet portals Truefire.com and Basslessons.com, where he regularly contribute to their didactical sections, and with the Academy of Modern Music of Fiesole (FI), Italy. Moreover, is a regular author for the main italian musical instruments magazine "CHITARRE", and he is currently preparing his own method for Electric Bass, the second bass instructional dvd, and his first solo album.
