Born and raised in Mexico City, I started loving music at age of nine, when I learned how to play guitar. At 14, I joined my first band of versatile music, for weddings, parties and bars, getting influenced by all kinds of Latin rhythms and Old School and American Rock and Roll. I performed with all kinds of Bands and Musicians in Mexico for 8 years. My voice has been always my most important feature as an artist, but playing guitar and learning all kinds of music makes me feel a more complete musician. In 1996, I moved to the US and joined a Female Mariachi Band in LA, "Las Adelitas" whom with I learned all types of Mariachi Music, and a year later, I formed my own Mariachi Band, "Las Alondras". With them, I traveled throughout the Country to participate on several Mariachi Festivals, like the Mariachi USA at the Hollywood Bowl, sharing the stage with great Mariachi Bands like "Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlan", Mariachi Internacional de Mexico, Mariachi Cobre, etc. We also play for Sheila E. at Catalina Island, and at the ALMA Awards, sharing the stage with Stevie Wonder, Patti Labelle and Boys Two Men, among others. As a Soloist, I have played at several Restaurants and venues in Michigan, Colorado and California for over than eight years. I also have had the opportunity to sing and play percussion for four years with the Mowtown, R&B and Classic Rock Band "The Rolling Tones" in Denver, with Flamenco musicians like Mark Herzog and Steve Mullins, as well as for the show "Spirit of Adventure" at the Newman Center, Denver Colorado twice a year. In May, 2008, I had a presentation with Music from Mexico in Longmont, CO with the Symphony Orchestra of Longmont, for the Celebration of Fiesta Mexicana. I recorded two CD's with great appreciation, and I'm currently working on the song writing for the third production, which will include themes in both English and Spanish. I'm always open to learn more about music and always having guests musicians when I perform, among my solo venues. VIV LA MUSICA VIVA!! (Long live the live Music!!)

Thank you for saving my slide show presentation at my aunt Raquel's 50th birthday party. The sound was not working and you started to play background music, I was so impressed with your quick action. That shows your professionalism. And more than that you blended in as if you were part of the family. You sure helped to make the party a success.
You area such a great singer and entertainer. And when you sang with the mariachi, what a nice treat.
I will forward the pictures I took just as soon as I can download them to my computer.
