This is now the fastest way to build and even measure your own network of Rossi supporters across Washington. Invite your friends to join a Rossi group or coalition, or start your own! Team 129 allows you to take action now to bring new leadership to Olympia that will start fixing real problems… for a change.

You should have won!!!
This election was built on poison ground. To many people just don't understand politics enough to know who to really vote for so they follow the show like sheep.
Too many people were voting to be a part of history and not voting for America.

Sorry you lost and don't give up!
Michael

Dang! I suppose it was too good to hope for a conservative to hold office in WA state. Those blue slivers on the westside, plus the votes of dead people and cartoon characters are just too much to overcome. It was a valient try, but this state is going to get what it deserves. I just wish those of us who voted with conviction and facts weren't also the victims.

Thanks for adding me Mr. Rossi... (we all know you won the first bout and should be this state's sitting Govenor.) It has been quite the upset that you did not win this round. I must say, your speech at the end was worthy of respect!
Please Don't give up on the people of this state, I ask from the bottom of my family and mine's hearts...Please Please Please run again! We need you in office.

Dino, I just wanted to express my appreciation to you for fighting so hard for our state! You did a great job and we are so proud of you! This region is stubborn... and if they can't see the dire need for change in Olympia- and that they had a wonderful opportunity to elect a caring, decent, responsible go-getter, I don't know what it is going to take.
Needless to say, we are all pretty bummed in our household today- and a little bit in shock, but we are very grateful to you and the inspiration you have given to all of us! God bless you richly, Dino!

The answer is simple:
Obama Supporters coming out in droves on election day.

What Obama supporter that doesn't normally vote, but was drawn to the polls to support Obama would turn around and vote for a republican over a democrat?

The simple fact is that this is a very toxic political atmosphere for conservatives. Sad, but true.

It really sucks you didn't win I was really hoping you would win. looks like more years of seattle liberal idiots in control. And high taxes.

Hey Dino I'm at a loss for words about this election! I think u did the best u could - we just have too many stupid people living in this state! Me and my buddies always dreamed about dividing the state in two - the west from the east - so those on the east of the cascades dont have to pay for all the tripe on the west side! I would love to hear ur thoughts on this!

Thanks for running. I'm dissapointed to hear that this is likely the end of your political career for the time being as you get back into business, but we would be thrilled if you ran again in the future! We'll keep working hard to make WA a red state someday! Thanks again.

Hey dino, I voted for you in 04, and my wife and I both voted for you in 08. We hope that you run again in 2012 because we know that you are the right man for the job.

p.s.
Thanks for mentioning eastern WA. in your debates.
We live in Spokane and sometimes feel like Gregoire doesnt even know we exist over here!

i'm so upset about the election results.
your right for washington state.
and i can't believe people can't see that.
i was hoping you would get rid of the wasl.
that has been doing nothing but keep me from graduating just because i can't pass the math portion.
i've tried so hard too.
you'd think gregoire would be smart enough to see that the wasl is just not working and no one likes it.

Regardless your future plans, you will have an important, lasting legacy in this state. I had given up hope that Eastern Washington or conservatives would ever have a voice in the governor's office again. King County seemed so insurmountable. You proved in 2004 and 2008 it is still possible for a conservative and a Republican to win in this state. Although you were not quite able to get there (thru a lot of circumstances out of your control), what you were able to accomplish is so important. Without that hope you created, a lot of us would be hopelessly disillusioned. We haven't had a conservative in office since the Democrats pushed Dixie Lee Ray out. We are way overdue. Thanks for giving us hope again.

I refuse to believe that Chris Gregoire has won. I will not give up hope until that last ballot has been counted! Enjoy your time with your family :).

I'm still in disbelief in how stupid the voters in Washington can be. I think we can all agree that our state needs a fresh perspective. A big change that will get our state moving again! Without a new Governor,we'll just have more of the same failed policies and higher taxes! More sex offenders on the streets registered as homeless! With Chris Gregoire still in office here,I'm seriously considering moving my family somewhere A LOT more conservative... Washington has been my home my entire life and I've never been more disappointed in any elections in our state as I have been in 2004 and now!!! I wish you and your family the best in all of your future endeavors! If you decide to run again...I'm behind you all the way!!!God Bless you Dino!!!

I still think you are an amazing man! WA made a big mistake and I hope my children to pay too harshly for it. Thank you for your time and effort Mr. Rossi.

I don't understand how people can reelect someone who has us facing a huge deficit, has raised taxes when she said she wouldn't, has chased companies out of this state, has not improved our schools. I don't understand Western Washington people AT ALL.

Nov 6 2008 6:38 AM

I am in shock....how could she pull this off twice!!! Where did all the idiots come from that voted for her after all our state has gone through these past 4 years? I guess some people love higher taxes and allowing the indian tribes to run the state! I am sickened by the whole thing!
