Influenced by his father's eclectic taste for music, from Jazz to classic, experimental guitar playing and audio equipment collector, rapidly the urge for musical production emerged, and after earning his sound degreee at the Lisbon Etic School for Communications he began musical composition and audio manipulation, presenting his first progressive trance act back in 1998. After releasing several tracks on labels like Neurobiotic rec., Flow rec., Nanobeat rec. Millennium rec., Solarsiv rec., Progressive grooves, JER Rec. or Liquid Records an artist album was released on Flow rec. in 2003 as Faktor-D, a minimal trance side project, deploying the chance to tour from New York (USA) to Cancun (Mexico), Zurich (Switzerland), Valencia (Spain), Split (Croatia) and pretty much allover Portugal. Besides his dance music passion, early he developed a taste for downtempo, experimental and dub music, which came to life through his project Cooltour, along with Pedro Caetano on the vocals, soon to be released on Dubkraft rec. Along with D-tector and Cooltour projects another one is emerging in a more electro/techno approach, by the name of Red Slack, with DJ/producer Miguel Santos, recently released on Progressive grooves and JER recordings. After moving from center Lisbon to the peaceful village of Sintra, in 2005 the dream of building his own studio came true and he's now 100% on music production, as well as sound designing and commercial audio production activities.
