Nascido em Niterói h2á 28 anos, Diogo Oliveira aprendeu a tocar teclado aos nove, mas logo descobriu- se um virtuoso contrabaixista. Com 16, virou Diogo Brown, quando passou a tocar em festas e bailes do Rio. As influências de jazz e bossa nova o acompanham desde a infância, quando escutava diariamente os LPs da mãe, discos tais como os de Elis Regina, Tom Jobim, Miles Davis e Louis Armstrong. Na Escola de Música Villa-Lobos aprendeu teoria e harmonia , por fora e a técnica daqueles que considera seus grandes mestres até hoje como Arhur Maia, Arismar do Espírito Santo e Sandrino Santoro. Depois de formado, passou a integrar por três anos a banda do cantor Bebeto, rei do swing viajando pelo Brasil, sendo que sua versatilidade o levou também a tocar ao lado de nomes como Paulo Moura, Cris Delano , Kenia , Aleh , Bebeto, Brazilian Voices , Liset Alea, Marcos Ariel, Zé Paulo Becker, Barrosinho, Cláudio Zoli, Bandy Pastorius Band , Banda Black Rio,
entre outros.
Diogo Brown , Bass Player, Song Writer And Producer 28 years Old, Is native of Niteroi, Rio De Janeiro , Brazil. Diogo's outstanding work has been showcased with Artistis Like: Antoio Adolfo , Cris Delano , Kenia , Paulo Moura , Brazilian Voices , Garry King , George Tandy Big band, Felipe Lamoglia , Liset Alea , Rose Max & Ramatis , Hot Brass Monkey Big Band , Banda Black Rio , Marcos Ariel , Barrosinho , Lanzallamas Monofonica, and so many others.
Influenced by Bossa Nova, Jazz and the Samba, Diogo also thought Brazilian Rythms on Bass and on percussion , along with Dr.James at Florida Atlantic University (FAU), and at the Antonio Adolfo Brazilian Workshops, exposing his native Culture. In 2007 Diogo realeased his first solo intrumental Cd "Daqui Pro Mundo" (From Here To Arround The World), At the Arturo Sandoval Jazz Club in Miami FL, Usa. Daqui Por mundo mix the most varied brazilian rhythms with eletronics and jazz funk elements. It features Great guests like: Mike Orta, Oscar Salas, Jean Case, James Mc Crevy , Ze canuto and others.
