Every story has a start; the story of the dIPLOMAT is an exemplary one. It all starts in 2005 when Fabrice (vocals, guitars), Sophie (bass), Gaethan (guitars) and Niko (drums) get together to build a powerful rock music with a strong identity but without complexes. The story goes on and the band gets interest from the audience right away.

In 2007, the dIPLOMAT play a stunning gig at Verdur Rock, where they win all prizes. The new sets at Dour Festival and at Les Nuits du Soir continue spreading the band’s reputation on stage. The audience grows larger.

You shall not be listen to the dIPLOMAT’s music while lying on your comfy couch or relaxing in your living room. You can hear glam rock shivers in their classy hymns. Their songs have bursting riffs and the rhythmic section is of a smashing kind. On top of that, Fabrice’s edgy voice flies like a blade. The band plays a back-to-basics rock music.

Later in 2007, the dIPLOMAT sign a record deal with the indie Belgian label, Green l.f.ant Records and record their debut album with Luc Van Acker and Peter Crosbie. A tour is planned in 2008 to promote the release. The diplomatic machine is on its way.
