Influences
Everything I've ever seen, done and heard surely? More specifically lets say those brass bands dressed as spiderman that were always at county shows.
"For an artist bad situations are just as fertile as good ones, sometimes even more so. For him all experience is fruitful and capable to credit." Henry Miller-Quiet days in Clichy
"The county of my dreams, you ask? Why, Dorset, of course. No one will ever convince me that any one of the other 38 counties in england is a patch on Dorset. However far from it I may roam in my life, a corner of my heart will always be here, in this beautiful county, where I was born." Miss S. Hole, Sturminster Newton, from The Farmers Bedside Book.
Born 1979 Bournemouth, Dorset. Started Directorsound in 1998 while Studying in Colchester. Moved to London for a while before settling back to Dorset by 2002 and been there since. Now residing in sunny Bournemouth. Released debut "Redemptive Strikes" 2003 on Geographic and Felicity in Japan. Then collected the earlier recordings for "Tales from the Tightrope Vol.1" released by Dorset Paeans, then Powershovel audio in Japan. Currently finished new stuff and looking for a home for them.

Poem 162 of 230, WalkaboutsVerse (please see my blog): TEES TO TYNE: FIRST IMPRESSIONS - SUMMER 2001
Where traditions are not so rare; Sea, country and works scent the air; A multitude of monuments, Planted tubs and patterned pavements.
The longish pedestrian malls; The remnants of defensive walls; Historic buildings are a gauge Of the respect for heritage.
Wheat, rape and pines in the fields; Estuaries guarded by shields; Long sandy beaches and wide scenes; Romantic-ruin go-betweens.
Rivers in parts licked by trees, Or fringed by boat clubs, wharfs, gantries, And crossed by practical delights - Varied spans, forming pleasing sights.
Fine churches headed at Durham; Football kits ad infinitum; Kept castles - one for study; Masonry behind masonry.
And, with moulding-works out that way, It’s somewhere for a longer stay..?
"Avalonian" by Brian Lavelle "Avalonian" is an incredible work, following and adding to a tradition on this subject by artists, musicians, writers and great minds over many years. This cdr – limited to only 60 numbered copies – comes packaged in a white digipak, with handprinted front and back covers
Please check out three of my new songs, which were taken from a recital, recorded live, without a microphone or any other source of amplification, at Escola de Música do Rio de Janeiro (Music School of Rio de Janeiro). The poem was written by Portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa and the music was composed by maestrina Patricia Lopes. Semi-classical song, with special harmony and melodies. Delicate, sensual and lyrical voice & piano tunes. Listen to it and please leave your comments.
Thanks.
They are the thre first songs. Stay confortable to erase this scrap after read it.

Poem 2 of 230, WalkaboutsVerse (please see my blog): WALKABOUT WITH MY PEN
Once drove an old sedan, up north, From a place in Sydney to Cairns; Then to Kuranda I went forth, By train, to look without set plans.
I browsed through the trendy market, With fresh fruits of tropical kind; Walked to the creek through lush thicket - Nature’s hand giving peace of mind.
I dined in a scenic cafe; Then, outside, as I wrote for yen, Some passing Kooris called-out: “Hey, You go walkabout with your pen.”
Request or question, I don’t know - Assured voices, elderly men. That’s now several years ago, And I’ve seen the world - with my pen.
