Dire Deny was first formed in 2002 when two former high school classmates, frontman singer/guitarist Trevor Adams and drummer Earl Yi, had a chance encounter and began playing together. The lineup and consequently, the sound, of the band went through several changes as Trevor and Earl tried working with various other musicians. Ultimately, the missing piece was found with bassist Fumio Tamaki who joined in the summer of 2005. They have been trucking away since then.
You guys are super. I saw you at TT's and you guys totally turned it out. Let me know when you have an album out so I can buy it. Your live sound can only be described as is Ken Andrews and Julie Andrews had a sonic love child. I dig it. Change nothing.
hey whats up guys thank your for adding red blue records to your friends list doing anything friday if not go and catch gone baby gone and some other incredible bands
Niiiice!..Dudes! - that song defintey sticks to your mind like a highway fly to the windshield!..
Just an idea.. :for the "real" recording I'd record the vocals and the guitar separate from each other though.. That way you'll be more free to experiment with the vocals and also feel less "chained" to the melody, so to speak.. Awesome stuff nonetheless!
