For many of our shows, there is a door charge or ticket entry is required. Details of this are normally available on the venue website, which we try to link to (if we can find it). Where available, entry tickets are often cheaper if purchased in advance.
All gig dates, times and location are subject to change. We try to never cancel shows and have played hundreds of miles from home despite the threat of being snowed in (we did however once have to cancel a show due to fireworks!). If in doubt, please contact the venue or drop the band an email. Dire Fakes Bio
Formed during 2002, the philosophy behind Dire Fakes has always been to replicate as closely as possible the sound and feel of Dire Straits, often using the same or similar equipment to that used by Dire Straits themselves. Since that time we have been entertaining audiences in the UK and Europe. Taking our favourite live renditions of the songs as the basis for our shows, we play extended versions of many Dire Straits classics, featuring the complete arrangements often only found in live Dire Straits performances. The current line up has been together since early 2008.
