Viel Spass beim lesen.
Just got back from the reading of the orchestrations of Gabe's improvisations.
What a cool surprise.
Another brilliant performance.
Love the rude and edgy brassiness of the low notes. The recording also captures the piano string resonance even on the single note sostenutos at the beginning. Wonderful. The reverberation of the horn in the final passages has a very suitable spookiness. Very tight rhythmically and excellent
blend with the background tracks. The horn seems to continue and echo some of the glissandi and horn calls. Excellent effects. Maestro Jurg's interpretation of the piano score is genius.
Thanks you for taking the time to make this.
Much respect and love,
MC
PS-can the second part be linked to the end of the first on the ending screen ? It won't get as many hits and it would be a shame if listeners didn't get to hear the 'sturm und drang'.
