Global warming. The facts :

• 1979 : Jason Report : the most brilliant American scientists subscribe global warming, so the American government commissions another report, this time by climate scientists. This second report comes up with similar conclusions.
• 1980 – 1989 : Ronald Reagan U.S.A. President
• 1980 : President Ronald Reagan commissions a third report, this time lead by William Nierenberg, a Chosen one who helped developing the atom bomb, also a Jason and more important, a believer in the free market (read : no restrictions on pollution). Nierenberg’s conclusion : ‘There is nothing to fear and we don’t need to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. Global warming will only become a major problem within 40 years (=2020).’ It was just what Reagan wanted to hear.
• 1980’s : CFC’s in aerosols and fridges destroy the ozone layer in a short time. The temperature of the planet keeps rising. Almost every year breaks records.
• 1988 : Professor Doctor James Hansen (NASA) says global warming is not a prediction, it’s an observation. Margaret Thatcher, though a conservative Tory, becomes the first world leader to warn about the danger of global warming. • 1989 – 1993 : George Bush Senior U.S.A. President

• Ice core samples taken in Greenland show that in the past hundred thousand years there have been dozens of climate changes, not provoked by humans. The changes happened in a few years. Climate can change big, often and fast. The global warming happening right now, is provoked by humans.
• Entire websites were set up to counter the ‘hockey stick graph’ of Michael Mann. But soon Michael Mann’s graph was followed by many other scientists’ new measurement data. Sceptics countered that it’s the fault of the Sun spots. It’s true that higher solar activity coincided with higher temperatures on earth, but only until the 1980’s. From the 1980’s there has been a drop in solar activity and at the same time a temperature rise record on earth, due to human CO² emissions. The end of the 20th century nearly is unprecedented.




• No climate model can predict the future with absolute certainty. Instead of the slow steady rise in temperature forecast by the climate models, we could face a global climate destabilization in just a few years. There are signs some changes are already happening faster than predicted by the climate models.
• Cities like Las Vegas, San Diego and Los Angeles are under threat of failing water supply. The Spanish Environment Ministry estimates that one-third of Spain is at risk of turning into desert from a combination of climate change and poor land use. "Politicians think in four-year blocks, so it's O.K. as long as it doesn't run out on their watch," Ms. Montón of Greenpeace said. "People think about it, but they don't really think about what happens tomorrow. They don't worry until they turn on the tap and nothing flows."
• In 40 years the sea ice in the Arctic has gone from an average thickness of 3.3 meters into 1.9 meters. By 2005 satellites recorded the arctic sea ice has shrunk by almost 20%. By 2018 sea ice could vanish in Summer all together.

I'm not a communist. Karl Marx was a communist and member of the Illuminati (abolition of private property). People who take business risks, choose to work hard and gain ten times more than the modal income in their country, are ok. I just think that if oil shareholders or energy providers like GDF Suez-Electrabel do what they want and sell out all of the oil reserves or coal-driven energy before a conversion to alternative energy, then it's true that greed will ruin this planet. A conversion to alternative energy shouldn't take as long as polticians pretend. Icecaps melt & bullshit rules. Wish I could believe in worldleaders.

Suppose that you would own say 30% of the last oil reserves on this planet, would you promote alternative energy ?

What you do as a politician doesn't matter. What the people BELIEVE that you do matters. So Bush plants a tree in front of the camera's and the people watching TV news can go to sleep.

• Note Sarah Palin supports creationism to be taught in public schools. Creationists believe (or pretend to believe ?) Earth has been created by God 6.000 years ago. Are we supposed to swallow these fairy tales ? There are trees that are older than that.
• Better not mix up politics and healthy spirituality. It makes an awful mess, called religion.
• The ruling elite spills the blood of the lower class.
• 1% of the population owns 40% of the planet's wealth. Is that a result of God's will ?

Amerika barst van de dollar-driven WASP's, White Anglo-Saxon Protestants, soms ook van Nederlandse origine (Vanderbilt, Roosevelt families) of Duitse origine (Rockefeller, Heinz families). J.F. Kennedy was als rooms-katholieke Amerikaanse president een uitzondering.

Use religion, patriotism, nationalism, race, wealth, class, status, sexe, age and language to divide the people and detach them from their sense of power and reality.

Everyone on this planet is just born as a human being but as long as people see themselves as separate from everything else, they lend themselves to being completely enslaved. Walmart is an example of how the world economic game works. It is a logical step in the unenlightened self interest of a company to do things like use cheap labor from poor countries, drop the price of each product, and build huge stores in small towns, consequently destroying the smaller shops in the town as they are unable to compete. This is essentially what the Banking Systems of the West are doing to the world.

Set up 9/11 and the people will demand to be protected and thus controlled. The media can convince everybody that the war on terror is real so the people will ask to be protected and so electronically trackable.

The true guidance comes from within, for we are nature itself. We are all brother and sister and we are symbiotically related to all other life forms. The Devil and God (Evil and Good) are notions from a very primitive time in our evolution. Money-structured religion serves only the perpetuation of division and hatred (Middle East, The Northern Irish Conflict, ...)

Christianity, along with all other theistic belief systems, is the fraud of the age. It serves to detach the species from the natural world and each other. It supports blind submission to authority. It reduces human responsibility to the effect that "God" controls everything. It empowers those who use the myth to manipulate and control societies. The religious myth is the most powerful device ever created.

(Bron: Knack 30.1.08) Toen diezelfde man ook in Afrika een romance begon met een zekere Els, was dat hot njoews. Houdt diezelfde kerel een massamoordenaar in het politieke zadel, ... weinig verontwaardiging gemerkt. Vier miljoen Afrikaantjes in 2006 wegen niet zo zwaar als zes miljoen joden. Onze Afrikaanse medemensen hebben dan ook geen Spielberg of Simon Wiesenthal om hun lijden onder de neus van de ganse wereld te duwen. Begrijp me niet verkeerd : ik ben een bewonderaar van Robert Zimmerman en Lou Reed. Er bestaat geen evenwichtig mens die genadeloze volksuitroeiing bekrachtigt, behalve dan blijkbaar een Belgisch politicus in deze 'modern times' ?

Beseffen de zwarte artiesten op het Brusselse Couleur Café dat ook een Belgisch politicus aan de oorzaak kan liggen van het feit dat de modale Afrikaan nog steeds niet mag genieten van de opbrengsten van zijn eigen Afrikaanse bodem ? Je begon dan te denken dat onze zwarte medemensen niet capabel zijn om een democratie op poten te zetten terwijl elke aanzet tot democratie in de kiem gesmoord wordt door onze eigen westerse regeringen. De economische kolonisatie van Afrika is natuurlijk nooit gestopt na de zogenaamde onafhankelijkheidsverklaringen en het is een stuk eenvoudiger om een volk te exploiteren onder een dictatuur dan onder een democratie.

Het maakt van Karel De Onverzettelijke een opmerkelijke Vlaamse Belg die het lef heeft om, oog in oog gezeten met Kabila De Neoliberaal (Privatiseer de winsten, socialiseer de schulden), te stellen dat de Congolese President zich verrijkt ten koste van de Congolese bevolking.

Ook durfde hij te stellen dat Rusland niet echt over democratische structuren beschikt, wat sommigen "niet diplomatisch genoeg" achten, ook al worden democratie-activisten in Rusland met de regelmaat van een klok vermoord.

Dient een Minister Van Buitenlandse Zaken altijd in de pas te lopen van de globale neoliberale tendens ? Wordt het hem in dank afgenomen door de internationale Masters of Puppets ? Waarschijnlijk niet. Dat zijn partijgenoot Guy De Gladde een neoliberaal is, maakt het kiezen niet eenvoudiger. De politieke realiteit laat zich niet in een notendop vatten. Je zou moeten kunnen kiezen op personen los van particratie.

"Point n'est besoin d'espérer pour entreprendre, ni de réussir pour persévérer" (Willempie) of "Het is niet nodig te hopen om te ondernemen, noch (is het nodig) te slagen om vol te houden". Fair trade is ok, maar lokale landbouw zonder transport is beter.

Iedereen stond in de grote tent om naar Lee Scratch Perry te kijken zodat Nicole Willis als het ware een privé optreden weggaf in een tentje ernaast. Prachtig. Hoefde ik haar nog te spreken nadat ze pas het beste van zichzelf had gegeven ?
