Sounds Like
We want you to make the BEST record you can possibly make..Period..If you don't then we haven't done our job.We don't make "demos"...We make RECORDS....Our reputation is only as good as our last session..We are dedicated to bending over backwards for you, and we'll make damned sure that it holds up in years to come! We're trying to develop the "Dirt Floor Sound", and i think we're well on our way....No clicking and pasting here..Go to one of the MANY other "studios" in the area for that shit. We LOVE vintage gear, and that includes guitars, amps, keyboards, etc...We're gear freaks, and when you come to DFS you'll feel like a kid in a candy store!...People forget how important ears are in the process. We trust our ears, and they are really the SECRET of DFS..Our fuckin' ears!
Lastly, we aren't trying to be all things to all people..There are certain types of artists we gravitate towards..Those artists who want to stretch out and throw the rule book out the window are the kind we love!..
About Dirt Floor Studio-makers of Folk Rock records.
Laid back and comfortable,Dirt Floor is located in the sleepy woods of Chester, CT. The only decision you'll be hard pressed to make is when to leave! Dirt Floor is owned and operated by Eric and Sandra Lichter, both artists in their own right. Eric(hey, that's me!) is a kick ass multi instrumentalist with a singular vision..To make your shit sparkle....
"You won't have to settle for anything less then we'd settle for ourselves, and we're picky! We won't let anyone who comes to us leave the studio less than 100% satisfied. In fact, we try to exceed your expectations, and we ALWAYS DO! We treat your music as if it were our own...because...it sort of is, when you come to Dirt Floor! If our name is going to be in your album credits it had better kick some serious ass,or we won't bother...."

I'll keep in touch, and I look forward to hearing new tunes from you and friends of Dirt Floor.
All the best to you and yours, gabe (types of smiles)
