About DIRT Magazine
DIRT is a Seattle-based art, music, fashion, and photography magazine. Created and run by two high school seniors (Anna Ryon and Tania Butterworth), DIRT gives exposure and voice to emerging young local artists and musicians. The best part is that it's absolutely FREE! Find it at local record shops, clothing stores, and cafes (see blog for full list of locations).

Be Featured in DIRT
Every issue, DIRT features a couple of the best young artists, photographers, and musicians from the Seattle area. Put yourself on our radar! Contact us through Myspace or our gmail (listed below) with a way to view or listen to what you've got, and you could be featured.
Be a Contributor
As a grassroots organization, help is always welcome at DIRT! If you're interested in being a writer, photographer, ad salesman, graphic designer, or just want to help out, we'd love to hear from you. (If you'd like to write or take photos, please send us samples.)
Advertise in DIRT
Every season, 700 issues of DIRT are circulated all around the Seattle area. (And we have a 100% pick-up rate.) Our ad rates are very cheap! Contact us for a press package and price sheet.

3 years ago my mother was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis or ALS, better known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. At that time, like most people, I had only "heard of" Lou Gehrig's Disease but had no idea what it was. Today, my mother's only got 2 weeks to 2 months left to live. She's lost her speach & ability to move 90% of her body while her brain remains fully thinking and emotional.
Please help me raise the world's awarness of ALS while making a few bucks to help find a cause/cure.
