John Fee and Mike Edwards started the "Dirt Road Drifters" as an acoustical entertainment business and this led to a full-blown band ready for the road...We started in the Tennessee area and started getting request for shows in Kentucky and Virginia. Then, we thought about turning the acoustical shows into a complete band act. From there we did several outdoor events such as fairs and festivals before signing with, "Clear Diamond Records". John was sent to Nashville to record our first original song: "The more he drinks, the more he thinks". The song was released to radio on May 14, 2007 and climbed to the number 2 position on the indie labels chart at "Indie World" on Oct 5, 2007. Please request it on your favorite country music station! A full tour schedule is in the works and should be ready soon! Look for us in your town and we hope you'll come check us out...We've got several original songs that we play in our live shows along with the more popular cover songs of todays and yesterdays well known artists...
