DIRTY is held at the infamous underground bar, Phoenix, the home of Sydney’s (Australia) gay/queer and alternative underground club scene.
The first event was held in December 2006 and is now a part of the Sydney club subculture and held once a month.
DIRTY is held on the 2nd Saturday of each month and is predominantly an event for men with a very definite leather feel, but women guests are also very welcome.
DIRTY is about providing an alternative to the mostly commercial sounds you'll hear along Sydney's Oxford Street, and aims to give you the very best underground DJs we can get our DIRTY little hands on.
DIRTY’s sound ranges from chunky breaks through to deep sexy tech and dirty tribal house. Basically, anything that is bass heavy, hypnotic, dark and bouncy with percussive hip grinding pulsating rhythms. Dirty music for dirty minds.
