!!! BIOGRAPHY !!! For anyone who has heard the distinctive sound of Dirty Freek, they will certainly have picked up on his varying style of funky disco, dirty, jackin' wonky, electro freekness that is stamped right into every one of his mixes. He set out to conquer the world of dance music at the turn of the millennium and 8 years later is now record producer, engineer, label owner & DJ extraordinaire. It's his hard work, dedication and passion for the love of music that has seen him releasing tracks across the globe and ensured his remarkable rise to the top.

In the last 18 months DF has completed no fewer than 35 remixes & productions for a variety of different artists & labels including his 2008 remake of the Grace classic 'It's Not Over' and the 1998 Ibiza anthem by Ruff Driverz feat Arrola - Dreaming. His style of music has seen him gain support from some of the worlds top DJ's like Laidback Luke, Judge Jules & Hed Kandi, playing on the same bill as DJ's such as Will Bailey, Tom Neville & Kate Lawler & having several guest mixes & productions aired on Radio 1, Galaxy 105 & London's Kiss FM. This summer saw the Dirty one branding Ibiza with his unique sound of wonk through his weekly club night 'We love to Freek'

On top of DJ-ing, producing and engineering for other artists, DF also manages & runs Freek Records which has had several releases to date including releases and remixes from the likes of Calvertron, Kelevra, Macca, Stupid Fresh & of course Dirty Freek himself. The label has gone from strength to strength and is fast becoming one of the most established, reliable electro labels in the country with the releases hitting the top download store charts including Beatport and DJ Download.

2009 is already seeing DF's calendar filling up, dividing his time between Dj-ing and several projects in the studio as well as his new residency at Blackout in Leeds. If you haven't heard of the freeky one by now then 2009 will be the year when all that changes because it is Dirty Freek's dedication, commitment & his visualisation for a sound that make him one of the most imminent electro producers to have emerged out of Leeds.
