Those feel-good roots of the Dirty Heads are grounded in the Orange County community of Huntington Beach. Founded nearly a decade ago by Watson and guitarist/vocalist Dustin Bushnell, the Dirty Heads humble beginnings feature too many late night sessions in the garage with nothing but a four-track recorder and an abundance of great ideas.
Years later with an extensive tour history under their belts and a solid fan base the band have played with bands like 311, Matisyahu, Unwritten Law, Fishbone, Pepper, Slightly Stoopid, Kottonmouth Kings, expendables, Rock the Bells, and many more.
they have been featured in award winning surf video "2nd thoughts" from pro surfer and film maker timmy turner, also pro surfer and pipeline masters champ jamie o briens solo video "freakside" and the Summer blockbuster hit movie and soundtrack for “Surf’s Up” (Sony 2007).
