Dirty Little Business was formed in 2000 by Rick Angle and Mike Zilka.They began to write songs together and Greg Meckes agreed to produce and play bass on their first CD,"Dirty Little Business" recorded in 2005.
Buffalo Music hall of famer Jim Wynne and Steve Gattie joined the band shortly after.Steve plays bass on some of "The Great Lakes Sound..." tracks.He left to take the bass chair in his current band "Little Sister".Since then Jim has handled all bass and keyboard duties.In November of '08 Jim was named Bassist of the year at the Buffalo Music Awards for an unprecedented 10th time.The band is constantly writing,arranging,recording and evolving.
In 2007 Dan Malek and Papa Stretch (Courtesy of Pisscheerio) both joined ....Papa Stretch left the band in late 2008 after the completion of DLB's 2nd effort titled,"The Great Lakes Sound Of Dirty Little Business". After extensive studio renovations DLB is currently rehearsing for the worldwide summer tour of wherever.The DLB shop will soon be opening featuring the bands cd's,t shirts,bandanas and all that cool rock and roll stuff.
