Under random ones at various times and various ones at random times!...Comely girl/women of the female gender, old delta slide blues players, female gospel & jazz singers, all of the true crooners & true showmen, the original dirty south funk sound!....and last but not least, (this more of an inspiration than an influence but...) sweet, sweet bastard love and/or the lust of and for many a good woman as well as many a broken heart!
Some of artists I have drawn inspiration from and have been influenced by over the years are as follows: Robert Johnson, Tom Waits, Nick Drake, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Jeff Mangum...[Neutral Milk Hotel], Elliott Smith, Robert Pollard...[Guided By Voices], David Bowie, Brian Wilson, John Lennon, George Harrison, Taj Mahal, J. Mascis, Syd Barrett...there are many, many others that I may add later. If you have not heard some of these artists, I highly recommend you do so!!

I have been writing, recording and performing music for just over 20 years now. Both with bands and solo projects. So here's the deal. On Saturday, Nov. 21st (next month), I'm going to be playing at The Best of the Northwest Women of Rock. There will be 16 cameras videotaping the event and it's going to be at capacity. I will personally be delivering tickets in a few Sundays. Please come out and support your local hotties.
