Hello my name is Bradley, I am 23 and from the tacky seaside town known as Great Yarmouth (...although I now live in Norwich). I write and record songs in my room using a digital 8 track, a rubbish karaoke mic, a childs casio keyboard and a beaten-up right-handed acoustic guitar (which I've re-strung because i'm kack handed).
Dirty Paint Brush Sky is the recording process from the idea in my head to the finished recording. I try to keep a good balance between them being raw and polished and there are alot of mistakes which I keep in. I try to produce songs with shades of prettyness and roughness, hence the name.
I like to keep structures simple and try to write as honest as i can about my experiences and feelings towards living.
I have recently recorded a new E.P. in Cambridge with the help of some niffty people. It will be available in February so please help me out and buy one, because I am now skint.

We recorded at Purple studios with our friend Lol. It was my first time in a proper studio and not a friends house so it was great fun and mega stress all at once ha ha!

Just wanted to tell you about a film screening on tuesday. It's an award winning documentary about how changes in law and society have been justified by 9/11 and 7/7.
An MI5 whistleblower will be there to speak and answer questions, so too will the films director.
It's at the Queen Charlotte, Dereham Road on 9th Decmeber.
I think it'd be great if the music community of Norwich stood up for a little truth so I'm telling as many of us as possible about it!
