Sun, Sept 6 • 3 County Fair in Northampton, MA
We will be playing at the county fairgrounds in Northampton for this, the countries oldest, longest running county fair. Not only will Dirty Rice Zydeco be playing (tentatively scheduled for 3:30pm on Sunday), but there will also be a performance by Joe Hall who is a remarkable younger master of Traditional Creole music on accordion, plus celebrated Louisiana recording artist Shelton Sonnier will be playing his guitar and cooking on stage. Dirty Rice Zydeco will backup Joe Hall for his evening performance tentatively scheduled for 6:30-9pm on Sunday evening. Thanks to Eric Fahey for organizing this exciting afternoon of Cajun, Creole and Zydeco music. Admission for the day is $10.
