Dirty Rock Magazine is an online digital e-zine combining written and interactive content such as audio and video. Specialising in classic rock, hard rock and heavy metal, Dirty Rock Magazine aims to be at the forefront of music journalism through digital media.

It all started with DirtyRock.net, a regular everyday webzine back in 2007. But thanks to the digital age Dirty Rock Magazine has arrived to reach out and connect with a worldwide community that lives and breathes rock n roll like never before. Based in Australia but with a worldwide approach to music journalism, we specialise in classic rock and heavy metal from the 60s through to the present day. It's all about the classic styles as well as the classic bands that shaped rock n roll into what it is today. We aim to be the rock connoisseur's choice online, focussing on all the best, new and old from hard rock, heavy metal, classic rock, glam, sleaze, prog, blues and a little punk.

Dirty Rock Magazine is powered by Desktop Author Software allowing us to publish a digital publication with the look, feel and functionality of a regular print magazine. Options are inlcuded within each issue should you prefer to read our e-zine offline or in print so you can enjoy it away from the computer (though of course the interactive features will cease to work). Each edition is managed by the Desktop Author Digital Rights Management System to protect intellectual property and ensure safe transaction for customers.

Each issue of Dirty Rock Magazine retails online for a digital list price of USD$6.00, AUD $8.10. No subscriptions are available at this time however that is an option we hope to offer in the future. We are also looking to bring readers special editions and free bonus issues as our magazine grows.

IMPORTANT: To view our digital magazine you will need to either download an .exe version of each issue or to download the small FREE DNL Reader file for the DNL version.
