Bio	THE THEATER DSI COMEDY THEATER kicks ass, entertaining audiences in NORTH CAROLINA with a unique and energetic approach to the alternative comedy scene and critically acclaimed presenation of improv comedy as an artform. Named 2006 BUSINESS OF THE YEAR, and awarded the TRIANGLE ARTS AWARD for "Taking Comedy Seriously" DSI calls Carrboro, NC home, with a professional 85-seat Comedy Theater and a COMEDY TRAINING CENTER with a dedicated Studio space (over 500 students have been taught since 2003 and currently 56 are enrolled). With branches of comedy commandos in CHICAGO, NEW YORK, a critically acclaimed Touring Company (ComedySportz®, BEATBOX, Fritter Kings, Road Trip, MISTER DIPLOMAT and Cajones), a growing College Improv Network and the nation’s largest annual IMPROV COMEDY FESTIVAL, DSI continues to be recognized as a major force in the improv world.
