Bio

Years of relentless touring and scratching around in the dirt for pennies, broken vans, bonkers drummers, surprise children, countless fuck ups and bad luck are enough to make any band want to quit - but Disarm are still at it, making the music they believe in, their way. Fuck trends and scenes - Disarm do this for the right reasons - a complete and utter love for music and a desire to share it with anyone who'll listen.

Formed in Yorkshire - the home of puddings, whippets, flat caps and deliciously thick gravy, Disarm are a four-piece whose eclectic influences have fused to create a sound that's not easily pigeon-holed. Drawing from punk, metal and rock the sound is fast as fuck, heavy as a bastard and angry as Trevor McDonald's cat after you've pulled his tail and criticised his whiskers!

After releasing their debut album "By Any Means Necessary" in 2008 to critical acclaim, further touring and a temporary hiatus the boys are back to smash your back door in with a new EP and a renewed fire in their bellies!

    Formed in the back waters of South Yorkshire, England, Disarm have been playing loud, heavy, fast, punk-tinged, bullshit-free rock 'n' roll since 2005. Focusing on playing kick ass music that they believe in rather than going along with any trends has always been their main objective, aiming for a raw modern sound that disassociates them from any particular scene. After playing several non-stop tours of the UK and releasing their debut album 'By Any Means Necessary' to critical acclaim the boys are currently busy writing material for their second album and preparing to continue their relentless touring schedule.
