"The fin-de-cicle came when at the Sonic Mook boat party in Paris, whilst Disastronaut was on the decks the venue was evacuated when someone set fire to the toilets sparking Sonic Mooks very own Paris riots." - Sonicmook.co.uk
So are new UK trio, Joan of Ass, the filthiest pop group in the world?...In the way they behave, write, and perform, Joan of Ass come on like the cranked-up bastard child of Soft Cell and 2 Live Crew. They're cheeky, visceral, profane and could be just whats needed in a world that persists in stripping the fun and filth from sex and pop music" - Sleazenation

OUT NOW 'Fulltilt EP' from Glasgow outfit Mr Hajika.
4 slabs of groove driven tech house...
Fulltilt original is a chugging, bass heavy track with a subtle musicality that develops throughout. Dr. Bergers remix is a stripped down deeper edit, with an infectious flow that maintains the essence of the original. Similarly to Dr. Berger, Alex Fiction strips back the layers to uncover an electronic soul which builds into an intelligently emotive interpretation, if slightly twisted. Completing the package is 'Nitemoves' which shares the big sound of Fulltilt, but with a more progressive, melodic vibe."
Lucius Lowe brings one of his earliest productions "Sweet music" bang up-to-date on the latest release from Boogs Music. The package brings three different flavours to your record box - The classic, smooth vocal house sound of the "High on the groove mix," Hard-hitting club sounds from the "Thru the roof mix" and the deep and soulful groove of the original 2003 mix. Featuring haunting vocals from newcomer Lois Taylor, the package gives an accurate measure of how Lucius' production skills have been honed between composition of the original 2003 mix and more recent remixes. The "Thru the roof mix" also marks Lucius' first commercial release, included on the compilation CD "Dancefloor '06" from Manchester's D6 Records. Think Ian Carey meets the Groove Junkies and you won't be far off with this excellent offering from Boogs Music... Release date 9th december, advance promo's available NOW at:
