This is the official page of both Product of Society and Disciple of Torment.
Emerging from the Long Island area of New York, Product of Society formed as a cover band by Derek (guitar), Josh (guitar) and Mike (drums) sometime in the summer of 2005. About a half a year later, the lineup was filled out by Eddie (bass) in January 2006 and Rohit (vocals) in May 2006. As the heat of the summer of 2006 rolled in, the band had a plethora of original songs and played their first few shows before Josh departed from the band. As a four-piece, Product of Society plodded along, recorded a 4-track demo named "Doomsday" in November 2006 and acquired Kevin (guitar) to fill out the lineup a few weeks after the release.
As 2007 rolled in, the band entered the local Ice Brawl tournament, placing in the top 12 out of 40 bands in the area. The band was straying from their old hard rock/punk sound towards a more groovy deathcore feel, and introduced this by recording another demo in March as a five-piece. After a few months of writing and rehearsing, Charlie (guitar) replaced Kevin and later on Frank (vocals) replaced Rohit, who departed off to college. The new lineup recorded yet another demo, but only one track was released.
The band played a few more shows in late-2007 before going into an indefinite haitus during the first half of 2008. Feeling the need to play music again, the band reformed, yet made a few changes. The band recruited Joe (vocals), changed the name to Disciple of Torment, and tweaked their sound in a more thrash metal direction. Throughout the summer and fall of 2008, the band played multiple shows, before finally breaking up again in January of 2009.
Over the course of three years, both incarnations of the band played a bunch of gigs at various venues with many now-successful local acts, and most of the members, both past and present, have moved on to other projects.

Experimenting with algorithmic composition and mathematic probabilities, Mind Corrupter build up an extraordinary glitchy, "random", bizarre, broken rhythmical complexity.
