To know is so often not knowing at all. All too often to know, is really just to assume without questions. To assume to know. So I find myself begging of the world to apply this simple equation; what we know today is less than what we will know tomorrow. For one second, please, stop congratulating mankind on our mastery of the world. Realize how miniscule and unavoidably incorrect our science will prove to be with the passing of time. Realize how safe we are not and how little control we really have. Realize the limitations of mankind and stop trying to confine creation to what you can understand.
Who I'd like to meet: Thomas Jefferson. More libertarians. More librarians. Fewer optimists. More realists. More people who love dogs. Fewer people who love kids. Fewer people who know everything. More people who think I know everything. And of course, boiler guys.
