/// Zwietracht, Zerwürfnis, Uneinigkeit – unvermeidlich, wenn vier Musiker ihre unterschiedlichen Wurzeln wie Indie, Hard Rock, New Wave, Punk und Pop in einer Band kombinieren wollen. Unvermeidlich – und auch Programm. Der Name: discord service. Das Ziel: sich keinem Zwang zu unterwerfen. Für die Band ist ihre Musik Ausdruck ihrer selbst – vielschichtig, wie die Impulse, die sie inspirieren, heterogen, wie die Gefühle, die sie umtreiben. Dies führt auch zu der Freiheit, den Prozess entscheiden zu lassen, ob deutsch oder englisch die passende Sprache ist. Kopf und oder Bauch. Trotzig, melancholisch, ehrlich. Dass das auch richtig viel Spaß machen kann stellen discord service auf der Bühne unter Beweis. Discord service wurde 2009 von Oliver (Gitarre, Gesang), Axel (Gitarre), Stefan (Bass) und Michael (Drums) gegründet. Im selben Jahr entstand mit dem Produzenten Gavin Tempany die EP »discord svc. #1«. Im Sommer 2011 nimmt die Band weitere Songs auf, die im Herbst 2011 veröffentlicht werden. /// Disunity, dissension, disagreement – inevitable, when four musicians want to combine their different musical roots as Indie, Hard Rock, New Wave, Punk and Pop in one band. Inevitable – and program at the same time. The name: discord service. The aim: not to submit to any constraint. For the band's members their music is expression of themselves – various as their inspirations, heterogeneous like the emotions driving them. This leads to the freedom to let the process decide if english or german is the appropriate language. Heart and or mind. Defiant, melancholic, forthright. That this can also bring a lot of fun discord service prove on stage. Discord service was formed in 2009 by Oliver (vocals, guitar), Axel (guitar), Stefan (bass) and Michael (drums). In the same year discord service recorded their first demo »discord svc. #1« produced by Gavin Tempany. In summer 2011 the band records new songs which will be released in autumn 2011.
