DISCOTRONIKE is a Brazilian electro gothic project coming from João Pessoa, city of the northeast country. For the purpose to make a sound with beats and melodies simple and surroundings, that the musician Wilame AC begun DISCOTRONIKE in the first half of 2007 .
Discotronike uses several elements in search of a unique sound with roots in darkwave, EBM and gothic rock, and could have dancing moments, but also of pure melancholy, whether in the instrumental or vocal.
The Discotronike speaks about several topics in their letters, these may be fictitious, personal experiences, and themes around the composer.
The songs are sung in English and Portuguese, as well as some instrumental music.
Nowadays, Discotronike has more than 10 songs in its repertoire and is released your first CD-R called "Sorrow", with 5 songs: Convict, Love or Madness, Ghost (instrumental version), Devora me (in portuguese) and Kiss.
For the live presentations Discotronike can invite some musicians to enrich your music.
Wilame AC is starting promotional of Discotronike first debut cd “Sorrow”, sending it to festivals, magazines, fanzines, webradios, netlabels, throughout the Brazil and all over the world now in 2008, spreading Discotronike’s music.
