PRESS:
A first impression of Discovery Zone is all that is needed to become a believer that there are bands that have decided to actually produce something unique and diverse. It is such a relief knowing that there is talent and drive still eminent in Los Angeles, and in bands like Discovery Zone. The band thrives on the ideals of layered songs and quirky sounds, developing an onslaught of sound produced by the talent that protrudes throughout their finger tips and vocal chords. The songs are powerful, and the energy is apparent with layer over layer of intellectually contrived sound. Their songs build, and while their intelligence is mustered throughout the songs, they are not hindered by the fact, and they hold the ability to unleash, and dispense a wall of heavy rock material. They know exactly when and when not to hold back their vicious battering of their strings and synths, knowing the right time to unload their epic rock. You may say they are the Pink Floyd of a new generation, or a darker version of Frank Zappa. Either way a comparison is not necessary to describe the band’s original portrayal of melody.-Artrocker Magazine
It’s rare when musicians so young can assimilate so many sounds – among Discovery Zone’s clear influences are early Pink Floyd, Tool, and the entire Ipecac Recordings catalog – and forge something dynamic and intelligent of their own. This band has done it. The three tracks on the DZ’s Myspace page hint at the band’s range, but you gotta see them live - wildman vocalist Jamie Landau (pictured) is a monster performer, with a Maynard-meets-Patton flexibility and a caged gorilla inside, just waiting to be unleashed.-Prefixmag.com

Patricia, did you get your homework done?

ooops sorry wrong link.
It's funny because I tried that one before, and it made me all mad because they sucked real bad, and they didn't pay too good either they offered like sw eepstakes and stuff instead of cash.

But anyways, the right site is

T o p C a s h S i t e . c o m

it's the one I am making $6 5 0 a week with putting in about 23 hours a week, sometimes up to like 30 hours if I'm daydreaming.

once you sign in do the ones on the first page, they pay the most. I got paid like sevent five bucks today for about 20 minutes work:)
You'll see what I'm talking about when you get in there. Mandy started taking them too and she's making $ 800 a we ek, it's making me so ma d because I'm the one that showed her which one to sign up with now she's
making more than me.

hey me and Maureen are getting ready to leave now, just give me a call or I'll catch you on here and let me know if you have any problems with your
membership.

Why do you have HTML comments turned off?

Finally, the Los Angles show we have been waiting for, this Wednesday, June 13th at 9:30PM we are playing at The Steve Allen Theater with perhaps the most unique and amazing performer that has ever existed EVER. Do you know what Tuvan Throat Singing is? Do you know what Shadow Puppetry is?

SORIAH
The Shaman of Tuvan Throat Singing present
Illuminaction Del Escarabajo

Spilling initially from a rock and roll womb, but building on years of intensive studies in Tuvan throat singing and classical Indian raga chanting, Soriah both subverts and elevates tradition by weaving the avant-garde into the ancient. Inspired by the Wayang Kulit (shadow puppet) tradition of Indonesia, Illuminacion del Escarabajo creates a post apocalyptic myth of mankind's reclaiming of ancient ritual for his spiritual evolution. This new form of the ancient shadow play combines elements of the spiritually visceral movement of Butoh artisits Mizu Desierto and Goody Plumb.

His voice is a thick, echoing, thaumaturgic atmosphere carved out of the thin, vibrating air that rushes between vocal chords. Performance is an integral part of Soriah's Chao-sphere. Concerts played in haunted tunnels, from trees, in the desert, in churches and other far-flung venues are more the rule than the exception. Elaborate costumes, often incorporating authentic head-dresses and other tribal garments and totems, are another hallmark. The costumes are worn partly in beatific reverence and partly for the sake of how they move. Soriah's grounding in the study of butoh, yoga and other physically based rituals completes the circle of the experimental shaman; a circle which will continue to propagate as the only constant with Soriah is change.

Date: Friday June 13th
Time: 9:30 PM
Cover: $10
Location: The Steve Allen Theater (aka The Center for Inquiry) - 4773 Hollywood Blvd
Los Angeles, CA 90027 (across for the Barnsdall art park)

May 8 2007 7:08 PM

HELLO!
You guys should play a show with us at the CIA on June 1st!!! It would be fucking killer as surviving a sky dive without a parachute. What would happen is you'd dislocate your shoulder on impact, pop it in, and jump up screaming in pain and joy!
No, but seriously, we should play a show together in LA while my band's down there, even if we just set up at Beamen Park and rock the fuck out.

Peace,
Brendan on behalf of Emergency Room, who's record is being pressed as we speak.
