Bands: Steely Dan, Queen, The Beatles, Porcupine Tree, and quite a few more. You may not be able to spot the influence, but I wouldn't be performing today without these guys.
Individual Musicians: Brian May, Steve Morse, Carl Verheyen, Virgil Donati, Gavin Harrison, Milton Mermikides, Bill Frisell, Vinnie Colaiuta, Brett Garsed, Larry Carlton, Robben Ford, Greg Howe, Chick Corea, Martin Taylor, Eric Roche, Brent Mason. So on and so on to aleph-null places.
Misc.: I'm quite partial to The Simpsons, Futurama, South Park, Spaced, Seinfeld, Brass Eye etc. ad infinitum. So, that should give a fairly comprehensive overview of my, er, interesting sense of humour.
Huge interest in Science-y type folk: Darwin, Dawkins, Dennett, Harris, Sagan and so on.

Thanks john, just a sample of the new stuff I've been recording. The Django style thing I recorded just this morning, messing around jamming but it turned ok! Your rendition of Scarified left me, erm scarified. I can't believe you can play that, well actually I can, but I'm still impressed!
Thanks for the add John! Actually, I'm getting a rush of add requests this evening, and I'm wondering if that's because there's no music on the page yet! har har...
Anyway, we're gigging in Bristol next way and I'd love to see you there. I'll understand if you don't make it, what with it being term time and all, but if you do I'll be glad you're there.
Yeah, we must catch up soon. I seem to be not invited to the IGF festival this year... I understand because I let them down the previous 2 years and had to arrange cover. But anyway, we'll have to bump into each other elsewhere!
