Formed in the summer of 2004. I am from maui and havent been able to meet up with the other band members but will soon enough to record some songs I have written. By the way, my name is Jason. In March 2003, Gomega released their self title CD (only on Maui). They wanted to do something different then your typical CD release party. So Ipo and Kanoa decided to bring all the elements on the Gomega CD to life by having choke different kinds of music. We started off with ISLAND MUSIC, REGGAE, GOMEGA MAUI'S MOST VERSATILE BAND, PUNK, and METAL. All in one night with Hip Hop artist, between the sets while one band broke down and the other set up. This was a great success and now is an annual event.
It isn't a "MOEY MAKING" event becuz we want everyone to experince great music at a low price and so that the artist gets most of money minus expenses to put this event on.
