Gli inizi:
I Disease Illusion si formano nell'estate 2007, quando il loro nome è ancora “The Reapers”. Dopo aver registrato il loro primo singolo promozionale decidono di cambiare il loro nome in “Disease Illusion”. La loro musica è principalmente ispirata al Death Metal melodico di stampo svedese e i loro testi trattano tematiche introspettive, riguardanti le varie sfaccettature dell'animo umano. 2008:
In gennaio, per risolvere alcuni problemi interni al gruppo, decidono di fare un cambiamento riguardante la line-up, sostituendo il batterista precedente e dando il benvenuto ad Alex, il batterista attuale. In giugno la band inizia una nuova sessione di registrazioni allo studio The Art of Sound Recording per incidere il loro primo EP "Reality Behind the Illusions of Life", uscito in dicembre. 2009:
In primavera registrano un nuovo singolo promozionale intitolata "Denied" presso i Regrexion Studios. In luglio i Disease Illusion hanno l'occasione di suonare al METALCAMP a Tolmin (Slovenia), dova hanno potuto condividere il palco con alcune tra le più importanti band metal dei giorni nostri. Ora:
La band è impegnata nella promozione dell'EP e nel contempo sta lavorando alla preproduzione del suo primo disco full-length, e sta inoltre cercando un'etichetta seria e professionale che possa produrli.

The Beginning:
Disease Illusion were formed in summer 2007 when their name was still “The Reapers”. After having recorded their first promo single they decided to change their name into “Disease Illusion”. Their music is mainly inspired by Swedish melodic death metal and their lyrics treat introspective themes, regarding to different angles of human soul. 2008:
In January, in order to solve some problems within the band, they decided to make a change for what concerned the line-up, substituting the previous drummer and welcoming Alex, the current drummer. In June the band started new recording sessions at The Art of Sound Recording Studio in order to record their first EP "Reality Behind the Illusions of Life", released in December. 2009:
In spring they recorded a new promo single called "Denied" at Regrexion Studios. In July Disease Illusion got the chance to play at METALCAMP in Tolmin (Slovenia), where they could share the stage with some of the most important metal bands out nowadays. Now:
The band is committed to the promotion of the EP while working on the pre-production of its first full-length, and is also looking for a professional and serious label that can produce it.
DISEASE ILLUSION shared the stage with:
ABORTED, MISERY SIGNALS, YOUR DEMISE, SALT THE WOUND, THE NUMBER TWELVE LOOKS LIKE YOU, WARBRINGER, Slowmotion apocalypse, Dreamshade, Mainline, Infernal poetry, Idols are dead... and all the bands and friends in underground scene that play with passion and devotion.
