Kurzinfo:
Zwei Jahre nach dem letzten Album «three», vier Tourneen (u.a. mit DIE HAPPY, Revolverheld, McQUEEN) und drei verschiedenen Bassisten, zündet der disgroove Funke endlich wieder! Vorsicht ist angeraten, denn die Jungs spielen nicht nur mit dem Feuer, sie haben auch eine leicht entzündbare Ladung packender Songs dabei - «gasoline» ist der Name der neuen Scheibe. Es ist eindeutig, die Qualitätsdichte auf dem dritten Werk ist so hoch wie nie zuvor und es scheint, als ob der Dreizack endgültig die richtige Mischung mit genügend Ecken und Kanten für seine emotionale Achterbahn gefunden hat. Der eigenständige Sound, den ihnen diesmal V.O. Pulver (GURD & ex. Poltergeist) verpasste, lässt nicht nur harte Nummern wie den Titeltrack «gasoline» (Nr. 1), sondern auch ruhigere Songs wie «a beautiful mind» (Nr. 5) in der richtigen Stimmung rüberkommen. Die gesammelten Erfahrungen im Ausland haben gezeigt, dass disgroove’s Musik in einer Hallenatmosphäre hervorragend zum Tragen kommt. Aber dass das Charisma des Trios überall funktioniert, davon kann man sich auf der «Etnies Fast-Forward Tour» ab Februar ‘08 ein Bild machen, oder an der CD-Release-Party am 25. Januar ‘08 in Basel (Kuppel).

They are setting fire again: disgroove are lighting another spark - two years after the release of their album «three», after four tours (among others together with Die Happy, Revolverheld, McQueen) and three different bass players. Please be cautious, as the guys do not only play with fire, they are additionally bringing along an easily inflammable cargo of enthralling songs: their new album «gasoline». It..s clear - cut that the terrific quality standard of the band..s third opus is the highest ever. And it seems that the trinity - by brilliantly blending in an ideal proportion of rough edges - have ultimately found the perfect mix for their emotional rollercoaster ride. No one less than V.O. Pulver (GURD & ex. Poltergeist) has masterly and individually arranged the unique sound of disgroove..s latest release. And thus not only hardcore numbers like «gasoline» (No 1), the title track, are coming across in good vibes, but also slower pieces like «a beautiful mind» (No 5). As often stated on their tours abroad, the special disgroove sound turns out exceedingly well in the atmosphere of huge performance halls. Come and get your own proof of the band..s electrifying charisma. ECTOSPHERE - R.I.P.	2009/7/19 11:04 ABSCHIED Nach zwei Jahren voller Arbeit, Schweiss und Endtäuschungen ist es nun soweit, Ectosphere lösen sich auf. Wir haben zwei intensive Jahre hinter uns gebracht in denen wir gute wie auch schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht haben. Wir haben sehr viel miteinander erlebt, vom totalen Musikstilwechsel bis zu fast einem komplettem Bandmitglider-Wechsel. Nach dem Wechsel von 3 Schlagzeuger und 2 Bassisten sind wir endlich zur aktuellen Bandkonstellation gekommen, doch nun ist es an der Zeit für etwas Neues. Die Band Ectosphere wird aufgelöst und begraben, die aktuelle Besetzung wird unter einem neuen Namen “Butchered At Birth“ und mit viel Elan und Ansporn weiter machen. Wir danken allen Leuten die in diesen Jahren an uns geglaubt und uns unterstützt haben und hoffen dass wir weiter auf euch alle zählen können.
