Disguise was born in the summer of 1998.

In January 2000, the band recorded two songs that allowed them to take part in a few important Metal festivals (e.g. sharing the stage with famous italian bands like Aborym, Horrid, Natron, Novembre, Sadist and more).

In February 2001, Disguise realized theri first MCD: "Impetus Mali/Mors Fidei". THe MCD received very good reviews in magazines, webzines and fanzines worldwide.

In November 2001, Disguise won the "Total Rock Contest", a nationwide competition organized by Metal Hammer.

In December 2002, Disguise entered Half Moon Studios in Bari, for the recording of "Human Primordial Instinct", their first self-produced full-lenght (and concept) album. The cd was distributed in stores worldwide by Two Fat Men and his commercial partners (Twilight Vertrieb, NSM, ProSonic, Masterpiece, Nuclear Blast etc.)

In August 2005, Disguise recorded a new full-lenght CD, "Late", in Alpha-Omega studios (Mortuary Drape, Ancient, Cataract etc.) with Alex Azzali and Dario Berruti

In August 2006, the band played at the Metal Camp 2006 in Tolmin (Slovenia). They shared the bill with bands such as Dimmu Borgir, Opeth, Testament and many more.

April 2007, "Late" is finally out, starting with Italy and the Benelux.

In 2008, Disguise played with Rotting Christ in their italian mini-tour, with Entombed in Pescara and took part at the "United Black Kingdom tour" in England, Scotland and Ireland, with Abgott and Keep of Kalessin.

In December 2008 Disguise released their new promo-cd, with the pre-production of 3 new songs, reserved to labels and magazines and now the band is looking for a deal.
