About me:
I have lived in Indiana all my life ....love the people,the history and the land...hate the weather. I love music and finding new artists to lsten to. I also enjoy photography and Genealogy.You can see my photography at the website below, which also gives a history of my family dating back as far as the 1500's. The website won the HERITAGE AWARD FOR GENEALOGICAL WEBSITES in June of 2007. I started out taking landscape photos of local scenery and soon found that I love to photograph people. Not the posed stuff though..I love taking candid shots when people are unaware of the camera and just being themselves.
In the past two years I have published one book of photography titled "A Midwest Pictorial", been published in newspaper and magazines throughout Indiana and one of my photos was used as the album cover for the amazing musician Achim Wiershem (Mindmovie).
My favorite photographer is Robert Frank who published the awesome book "The AMericans" ...a look at America in the mid 20th century.
My favorite authors are James Thurber, Ray Bradbury, Jack London and Stephen King.
My favorite musicians are John Mellencamp, James Taylor, Van Halen and many more. I played in the band "Night Shift" for several years (drummer) and like all types of music. Favorite movies include: Indiana Jones, Star Wars, A Christmas Story, old "B" horror films, Dark Shadows, Star Trek ....amd most recently "Slumdog Millionaire".

I use Picasa to make my YouTube videos. Nothing fancy but it gets the job done.
How's your photo exhibit going? Is it available for viewing most days of the week? I guess they have to have an attendant watch that no one absconds with your photos!

I hope you have survived all your Thanksgiving food and now you have probably gined four pounds with all the dssert and all...
So time to jogg around again to take pics.
It is snowing here wilthout and. Tomorrow I will have to take my shovel out and scratch all that snow from the garage...geeezee. how I hate that..
Marl you definteyl have to shot some of thos winter pics when pepole are just being faced with this snow and have to it off, or rif of it...I am sure you find fabulous pics on this kind of thing...
Well. if the snow has not arrived, I know it will soon...

It's taking all that I am to go to work today...come to find out I like NOT working! Hahaha
Tough after having time off to get the groove back but I'll go with a huge smile on my face...that will make them wonder won't it! haha OH did they come back and straighten out your rug?? What color did Pam pick out anyway... it doesn't go with the blue lounge does it? haha Now you stop reading this and get back to your book making...

Soooo...me being the self involved crazy artist Angel I am...I really didn't know the plan for our Thanksgiving...when I woke up, L. said "welcome to Plymouth Rock";-)...to my great surprise there were Pilgrims And Native Americans all around this place..Lol...my bass player Steve had a built a 16 ft. high teepee in the backyard..................... just so cool:-)...my daughter Piper said, "let's make this year different so we did"...I got dressed up real quick.....we broke bread. shared stories and lots of laughter, the band made some music, and we had the most amazing drum circle at the end of our evening...lots of love and gratitude...
Now...after this I got this thought...yeah, yeah I know, uh oh...heeheehee
Just imagine..if we could get all the kindred souls on this crazy MySpace thing in one place at one time, break bread, share stories, lots of laughter, bands making great music...and at the end of the evening have the most giant, huge monster drum circle ever??? Like a great heartbeat going out into the Universe...so many magic people united in love...ya know, I think we might just change the world for just a little bit...
Yep! That's what I think alright;-)

We are all gardners here with this thing we call life...
This is the fertile ground of our hearts...
And these are the seeds of our hopes, dreams, desires, wants, and needs...We put them in the fertile ground...nurture them with FAITH, water, love, pull the weeds, and believe...and look what happens!!;-)
Look!...Magic Flowers everywhere:-)...ahh yes magic...not ALL the flowers will grow of course...how boring would life be if we knew everything...right??

Yesterday has ended memories remain

Was happy to receive the notice thanks.
Great photgraphs since I have heard quite about you in the past few months.
I am running late it finally turned out to be a nice afternoon, would have been great day for a hike, the sun is out and nice climate.
Was heading up north for a photo shoot at my friends property but we all decided to postpone for Sunday then head to the lake house for me to kick back some.
Was at the hot air balloon earlier this morning near by but did not stay long.
Excited with your talent and outcome of all your work, fantastic.
Well, I best get going have to fly here soon, so um wanted to touch base with you.
