Electronic disco with a touch of retro electro pop. Diskodiktator enjoys the use of vintage synthesizers and vocoders as well as old school rhythm boxes.
Diskodiktator was founded as FKK Jugend in 1996 and has since then released some 30+ demos, 3 full length albums and a bunch of singles for all the world to enjoy. The second debut album "The World According To Diskodiktator" was nominated for Best Scandinavian Newcomer at the 2005 Scandinavian Alternative Music Awards.
In 2005 Diskodiktator founded their own label Electric Fantastic Sound which is now one of the fastest growing record companies in Scandinavia.
Diskodiktator is currently working on their 4th full length album due to be released sometime soon...
