The Dislocation Festival is an annual exploration of experimental music and film hosted by The School of Unthink. This year it will take place in Luton on the 21st and 22nd of August 2009. The festival seeks to introduce (and reintroduce) people to an exciting variety of new musics and film over two events on successive days.
Both events will be held at The Old Shop, a dedicated arts space run by the organisers of the Filmstock festival. The Friday will see an afternoon and evening of short and feature films, live soundtracks, and musical performances; the Saturday is an all-day musical marathon featuring local and not-so-local acts.
There are two kinds of ticket available for the Dislocation Festival.
The Festival Pass, priced at £7.50, gives you access to both the Friday's film and music event, and the all day music event on the Saturday. Alongside entry, you also get a limited edition CD featuring the musicians playing at this years festival. Additional copies of this CD will be available at the festival shop.
The second is the individual event tickets; priced at £5 each, these tickets allow entry to one event only, and do not come with the limited edition festival CD.

Disclaimer: Tickets are sold solely via the festival site and at the festival entrance on the day, and cannot be resold via other agents. In purchasing a ticket, festival patrons agree that refunds will be issues in the unlikely event of the festival being cancelled, and not for last minute line up changes, except in the instance of notable alteration (eg. both headliners cancelling). Festival Pass entitles return entrance on Friday and Saturday, along with free festival CD. Individual tickets allow access to one event only. Re-entry is permitted with all tickets. Tickets will be sent out up to the week prior to the event. Any advance tickets sold after the 14th of August can be collected on the door, providing ID is shown.
