Is the tool of Lucifer unless it can be paused and the commercials skipped through at will. Thank god for Tivo,DVR,500 Gig Hard drives, and all the other bits of technology that save us from the wiles of the evil minion. With DVR technology television has become mastered by the viewer and torn from satan's black bosom. The dark lord is no longer free to use his weapon of deception.
TV is one of many technological advances that has stymied the growth of the intellect, and therefore I deem television a hindrance to the development of mankind as an intelligent and awakened being. It has been used to exploit prior generations into submission and live lives of servitude; it is the Technicolor mouthpiece of the commercial conservative ad camp-pain driving rational living as a whole into irreversible decay. Dean Koontz, Stephen King, Jon Kraukauer. Reading his books turned me on to modern day climbing adventure/ disaster at the edge of human capabilities, and all the cloudiness that entails. Briefly studied a series of 1996 Everest dissaster books from 3 different perspectives Antoli Bokreeve, Jon Kraukauer, and David Breashear, by reading each narrative of their recollection of the events that transpired leading up to, during, and after the dissaster on the mountain where many of their respected climbing companions remain. Very similiar to the bible in that respect. Anything dealing with occult teachings, ancient wisdom. Presently nspired by Phillip K. Dick, R.W. Emerson, darkness, denial, deception the three gates of humanity.

Galileo, and others like him who pushed to far and were burned, beheaded, torn apart, imprisoned or at the very least put under house arrest. If it were not for the men and women who could not settle for the way things were during their lifetime, we would not be where we are today. And of course all the members of the United States Armed Forces, along with the Firefighters, and Policeman, and everyone in an elected position in this great country, and all the secret police, investigators, and most of all the social engineers who slightly nudge humanity in the most favorable direction
The Devil, Lord of the Dance, High King of the underworld, Dark Lord of the deceived, angel of Light to the enlightened. The earthy physicality of the devil breeds lust. The devil's call to return to primal instincts often creates conflict in a society in which many of these instincts must be kept under control. Challenges posed by our physical bodies can be overcome by strength in the mental, emotional, and spiritual realms. Pan is also a symbol of enjoyment and rules our material creativity. The devil knows physical pleasure and how to manipulate the physical world. Material creativity finds its output in such things as dance, pottery, gardening, and sex. The self-actualized person is able to accept the sensuality and usefulness of the devil's gifts while remaining in control of any darker urges.
