Originally my dispyz project started in '95 with the song "raverblood" (then untitled) on a music program I wrote for the commodore 64 line of computers. As a child I was intrigued by the idea of 8-bit music/machine modifications and my latch-key upbringing certainly had no small part to play in that interest.
Over the years this idea would turn into a full-blown obsession with using the Game Genie to pull music out of the NES, discovering sampling with my Amiga, and following the sounds of Midwest underground, but it wasn't until some time later that I heard about the European 8-bit movement. Unfortunately by this point I had grown tired of the average "bleep-bloop" sounds and tetris remixes...I needed something different. I was changing and naturally my tastes would follow.
Lately I've been on-again/off-again with the dispyz project, butting heads and dealing with half-brained fuck-wits on the Internet, but old habits die hard folks. New material has been written and it's time to see just how far I can take this.
Many thanx for Your kind words, I do appreciate that! :) As for the Amiga remix - I would be delighted however I don't wanna bother You. Anyway, when the project it's ready - I'll let You know. :) Greetzzzz!!!!
Yo, Dispyz! :) Nice to see You here. So Stagediver is Your poject? Hehe, gabber rulez. However I also love electro-industrial and this stuff here is also fine. "Crimewave" roxx. "Generation Zero" roxx. Others rock. Well, Amiga roxx after all. ;) I think to prepare some electro-industrial album too, with non-chiptune digital music from my ZX Spectrum (only 3 channels and 4-bit 'though :) ). It will be something like this http://ay-riders. speccy. cz/download/zx_spectrum_is_alive/05-yerzmyey-industrial_fucking_part_2. mp3 Well, we will see. Or hear. ;) Meanwhile You keep up with Your fine work, man. Greetz to Milwaukee.
