DISTANCE is a Metal Band from Madrid, Spain established in 2007. Since the beginning, the main idea behind DISTANCE was clear: to combine all imaginable influences from rock and metal into a solid, rough yet melodic musical vehicle. Weaving musical patterns from riff driven technical thrashers, proggy ambient tracks... and why not, even some nice industrial beats... all of that carefully placed together into a single package delivered with absolute cohesion. Why limit yourself to one particular style or a select group of influences when music and metal itself is so vast? Nowadays it seems that you must fit exact, preconceived specifications in order to quickly achieve massive marketing success. If DISTANCE achieves that goal, then great. If they don't, that's fine as well... To bring you Metal that moves and motivates you, coming straight from the source: action and emotion. That is DISTANCE's mission since the beginning... and will continue to be until the end. So now the question remains... What do they sound to you?
