About me:
Distortion Arts Project is a brand new Philly group of emerging artists producing Warhol Factory inspired shows. We are limiting this to emerging artists with limited exposure in true gallery settings. Each month there will be a different theme focusing on art works (visual, photography, painting, performance, etc) that display these talents. WOW talk about a summer it's been AMAZING! Sal's, Ground Zero South, Black and White Ball 2007, Triumph Brewing Company and everything in between! Our next event is: Distortion: Leap: Point and Click - Cafe Mocha 263 S. 10th Street Phila PaWho I'd like to meet:

Many thanks for the friendship! We would be honored if you read and comment the new artist interviews on our profile!
SEX AND CONSPIRACY!
Swedish punkrocker and painter Karl Backman talks about his art, and the reactions to it from right wing christians, pee fetish girls and conspiracy theorists.
MYTHOLOGIES AND LIFE!
French graphic designer and writer Laurent Rivelaygue discuss nightmares and a road movie in bumper cars.
GRACE AND ELEGANCE!
American artist Betsy Jones talks about geometric landscapes, happiness and the arts of the geisha.
are you gonna eat that candy corn?
We don't know how long the road is;
We just walk it to the end.
We keep on walking expectantly,
heads up,
walking in hope.
We do not sit down in protest
because our feet are sore;
We do not get sidetracked by
better-traveled roads;
We do not look back.
We are on the right road
and so we walk it
with joyful anticipation
and quiet confidence
and steadfast assurance.
We walk this road in hope,
And we will walk it to the end.
Thank you for letting me be a part of your life. I am grateful that our paths have crossed!
